Moor Park is a wonderful residential area to the south of my constituency. The Moor Park Manor is an exquisite example of Neo Palladian design and hosts a variety of events, ranging from weddings to photo shoots. It also serves as a golf club to the surrounding area, with beautiful greens and picturesque woodlands.
*DID YOU KNOW* The name ‘Moor Park’ was given to the village in honour of the mansion which was built in the late 17th century for the Duke of Monmouth, who was later beheaded. It was later reconstructed by Italian architect Giacomo Leoni 50 years later.
Being connected to London by the Metropolitan Line Station in Moor Park is a great convenience to the residents and the local shops, like Loomrose Pharmacy and Moor Park Fine Foods.
