It was an honour to recently be invited to cut the ribbon for the new nets at Chipperfield Clarendon Cricket Club following their five-year renovation project.
It was great to hear about the work that the club has done for the community in the past 180 years, and the recent progress the club has made, including the founding of a girls’ team.
It was also a pleasure to play the first shot in their brand-new nets, and Gagan was even lucky enough to be gifted with a club cap! Gagan looks forward to seeing the club's continued success as the cricket season begins and their ongoing plans to make the Cricket Club a community hub for all, even in the off-season—Gagan thanks to the club for their hospitality.
