Gagan had the pleasure of visiting the talented winners and runners-up of his annual Christmas Card competition on Friday. The delighted young artists received a special House of Commons Teddy Bear along with a copy of the Christmas Card they skillfully designed.
The winning designs, crafted by Evie, Sia, Ely, Catherine, and Isla, will soon be featured on cards sent to over a thousand colleagues, members, councillors, and even to the Prime Minister and Mr. Speaker. The festive cards showcase the creativity and artistic flair of the young participants.
During the visits to Swing Gate Harvey Road Primary School, where the winning designs originated, Gagan engaged with the students, answering questions about the highlights of his job and learned about the children's Christmas wishes.
"It's heartening to witness the enthusiasm and talent displayed by these young artists. Their creativity will be shared with a wide audience, spreading the joy of the season," said Gagan.
Special congratulations go to Evie from Swing Gate Primary School for their outstanding contribution to the competition. Gagan extends gratitude to all participants for their remarkable efforts and artistic contributions.
The annual Christmas Card competition is a testament to the community spirit and artistic talent evident in South West Hertfordshire. Gagan looks forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
