This week, I asked the Home Office Minister whether the police will be investing in facial recognition tools to support crime prevention and detection.
A few residents in South Oxhey have informed me that they’ve been victims of burglary or attempted burglary, and this technology could be a vital tool to allow my constituents to feel safer in their own home.
It’s encouraging to hear the Home Office is taking steps, but I’ll continue working to ensure these measures are implemented effectively. Community safety must always remain the number one priority.
