Although I am not able to be at today's debate on Project Gigabit, I wanted to highlight the vital importance of this programme in transforming connectivity across the UK.
In South West Hertfordshire, better broadband means better access to services, greater support for local businesses, and a boost to our growing digital economy, and I am proud that the last Conservative Government achieved 85% gigabit broadband coverage, up from 6% in 2019.
I’ll continue to hold the Labour Government to account to ensure South West Hertfordshire benefits fully from the rollout of gigabit broadband.
