Farmers are the backbone of our rural communities and vital to our nation’s food security.
Today, I joined farmers outside Westminster, rallying against Labour’s damaging Inheritance Tax plans which threaten the future of Family Farms across the UK.
It was great to meet Josh Redford, NFU County Adviser for Hertfordshire, and Ian Crickmay, local NFU Group Secretary, to discuss the challenges facing farmers and the essential need to support British agriculture.
I also spoke to my friend and colleague, Robbie Moore, Shadow Farming Minister, who stood with us to stop Labour destroying our Family Farms, our rural communities, and our food security.
