On 10th November Gagan visited The Kitchen Croxley, a small cafe specialising in homemade cakes. He had been invited to the cafe by its owner, Linda Anderson, to discuss the challenges she had been facing running her small business. They were joined by Nick Summers, the Managing Director of the Nationwide Caterers Association.
The three discussed in depth the unique difficulties presented by the cost of living crisis, inflation and preparations for Christmas.
Gagan remarked:
“This well-liked cafe is a community hub and the importance of supporting small businesses such as The Kitchen Croxley cannot be understated for maintaining the cohesion and character of villages like Croxley.”
