Gagan Mohindra is pleased that the Government has met its manifesto commitment to recruit 20,000 additional police officers. In Hertfordshire, the Constabulary has in fact exceeded the original target of having 2,381 police officers, and now has 2,415 officers to crack down on local crime, relentlessly pursue criminals, and protect victims.
After hearing the news, Gagan commented: "I am really proud that the Government has not just met, but exceeded its ambitious target of recruiting a further 20,000 police officers. I am incredibly delighted that Hertfordshire has benefited from this policy, and I look forward to continuing work with our Police and Crime Commissioner and our excellent police officers to keep local communities safe."
