Gagan was recently contacted by one of his constituents, Amanda, who sadly brought to his attention the case of her mother who had a fall at her home. Amanda's mother had to wait five hours for an ambulance and then experienced many more hours of delays once arriving at the hospital.
During Department for Health Oral Parliamentary Questions, Gagan raised Amanda's case with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Steve Barclay.
Following the Secretary of State's answer, Gagan said: "I am pleased that the Secretary of State recognised the importance of this and I look forward to working with him and his colleagues on this issue further."
