Gagan has seen the great role that community sports groups and teams can play in local areas, and he was glad of the opportunity to be able to invite representatives from the Hertfordshire Football Association down to Portcullis House in order to talk about their plans for the future and the work they do.
Gagan was pleased to hear about their work supporting disabled players into the sport, and the successes of the almost 42,000 players under the association. Following his meeting with them, Gagan was in contact with some local stakeholders to talk about the possibility of advancing grassroots football in the area. Gagan looks forward to continuing to support local sports clubs.
