Gagan is keen to learn more about all of the different types of businesses in the constituency, and he took the opportunity over the past week to visit 5 different businesses and undertake work experience.
Gagan visited Open Door, a charity based in Berkhamsted which offers coffee mornings and english classes for refugees arriving from Ukraine, and assisted with an English language class. He also visited the Tropical Marine Centre, one of the strongest research and development centres into marine filters and technology, where he discussed improvements in energy efficiency, and challenges they are facing with the increase in the cost of living.
Other highlights of the week for Gagan included seeing a demonstration of a robotic surgery at Smith and Nephew, as well as baking fresh bread at Cinnamon Square in Rickmansworth and seeing the great work at P E Mead and Son’s Farm Shop with their production of rapeseed oil.
Gagan thanks all the businesses for their time and for accommodating him, and he will continue to work to support all local businesses in his areas.
