Today, Gagan Mohindra MP wrote to Councillor Sarah Nelmes about the planning application for Green Street in Chorleywood to relay concerns he has heard from constituents.
If approved, 300 or even 800 new homes would be built in the Chorleywood area. The proposed building site is both green belt and an Area of Outstanding Beauty. With no obvious plans of how to tackle the increased number of residents, Gagan is concerned that this development would put even more pressure on schools, traffic congestion and local amenities.
Speaking on the matter, Gagan said "I hope that the council will take on board the arguments put forward by my constituents".
