Following the Government’s announcement that ‘tap in tap out’ services were to be extended to more stations such as Berkhamsted and Tring, Gagan Mohindra asked the Rail Minister, Huw Merriman, if he could reassure commuters that me that commuters who required support will still have staff at stations to provide the assistance they need.

Gagan was pleased that the Transport Minister confirmed that staff would not lose their jobs, and would be moved from ticket offices to a more visible and active place on the platforms to provide support directly to commuters who may need it.
