I recently met with Openreach in Parliament to discuss their ongoing efforts to expand the UK’s digital network and broadband, which connects homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses nationwide.
In South West Hertfordshire, improved broadband access translates to better services, stronger support for local businesses, and a significant boost to our growing digital economy. I’m proud that the previous Conservative Government increased gigabit broadband coverage from 6% in 2019 to 85% by 2024.
I will continue to hold the current Labour Government accountable to ensure that South West Hertfordshire fully benefits from the ongoing rollout of gigabit broadband.
