Gagan Mohindra MP attended the Curry Life Awards to present Mr Ali and his team at the Fat Buddha in Berkhamsted with their award for being shortlisted as the Best Curry Restaurant.
The Curry Life Awards reward and recognise the individuals who represent the very best of the British curry industry. The event takes place is to honour the outstanding chefs, takeaways, and restaurants, which have excelled in every way in the trade and culinary sector across the country.
Gagan says: "Following a year where the hospitality sector has had to adapt to changing restrictions, it is a huge achievement to be shortlisted for this award. The Fat Buddha has an outstanding local reputation. I am proud to have such a fantastic establishment in South West Hertfordshire."
