On the 3rd December, Gagan Mohindra highlighted his support for small businesses, being one of his six key priorities for South West Hertfordshire, by visiting businesses on Small Business Saturday.
As part of a walk around, Gagan took the initiative to visit numerous small businesses, engaging in meaningful conversations with owners, employees, and customers alike. Gagan gained first-hand insights into the challenges these businesses face and the wealth of opportunities that lie ahead for them.
South West Hertfordshire is privileged to host a multitude of independent retailers, each contributing to the community with unique, interesting, and characterful selections. In the spirit of the approaching festive season, Gagan passionately encourages residents to embrace the #ShopLocal movement. By doing so, community members can discover and support the diverse offerings that these wonderful establishments bring to the table.
Gagan emphasised, "We are fortunate to have a rich tapestry of small businesses that add vibrancy and character to our local economy. As we approach Christmas, I urge everyone to consider the unique offerings of our independent retailers and make a conscious effort to #ShopLocal. By doing so, we contribute to the growth and sustainability of these businesses, fostering a thriving local economy."
This initiative aligns with Gagan's overarching goal to champion the interests of small businesses, recognising their pivotal role in shaping the economic and social fabric of South West Hertfordshire.
