This weekend marks two years since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
It is important for us to continue supporting Ukraine in its fight for freedom and democracy as well as to remember the lives lost and the ongoing struggles of those affected by this conflict. This includes over 200,000 Ukrainians who have been displaced by this conflict and are currently residing in the UK, which could not have happened without the kindness and generosity of their sponsors.
Gagan is pleased that Britain has been at the global forefront of offering support to Ukraine, delivering £12 billion in military, economic and humanitarian aid. We will continue to support Ukraine, and all those affected by this conflict remain in my thoughts.
