Gagan is keen to support the efforts of all in his constituency that undertake excellent work to ensure that employment opportunities are open to everyone regardless of their background or training.
He was glad to have the opportunity to attend a self-employment networking event at Hemel Hempstead’s Job centre, in which he talked about his experience running a furniture retail business.
He saw the mentoring and connections available to those wishing to start their own business, including business development courses and Dacorum Borough Council’s initiative based off “Dragon’s Den” which encourages local people to self-promote to try and get funding for up to £2,500.
Gagan will continue to support small businesses in his constituency, and those who want to start their own businesses.
