Gagan Mohindra has shown his support for the tourism and hospitality industry in his constituency during English Tourism Week (17 – 26 March).
The MP paid a visit to Berkhamsted Castle on Monday 20 March accompanied by Neil Rutledge, the Deputy Chair of Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), staff at the English Heritage site and Sue Lea, Destination Manager at Visit Hertfordshire.
He also paid a visit to Chilterns Canal Boat Holidays and Pendley Manor Hotel on Friday 24 March, accompanied by Norman Jennings, Operations Director at Hertfordshire LEP, and Sue Lea from Visit Hertfordshire.
Gagan said following the visits: “I have really enjoyed visiting some of the tourism and hospitality businesses in my constituency during English Tourism Week and meeting the fantastic staff who work so hard in these businesses to provide visitors with amazing experiences. After a tough few years - I urge everyone in my constituency to get out and about and take advantage of the wonderful attractions, landscapes, hotels and historic houses we have in the local area.”
