Gagan Mohindra was pleased to have been joined by a number of Bovingdon residents on at Bovingdon Memorial Hall to discuss the proposed Bovingdon Neighbourhood Plan.
The meeting lasted a couple of hours with local residents being able to comment on aspects of the proposed neighbourhood plan which will act as a framework for future planning decisions in the area.
Following the meeting, Gagan said: "By increasing focus on neighbourhood planning, communities such as Bovingdon will have greater power in shaping new developments in their area to ensure that they meet needs of local residents and fit within the local character. It was great to see so many residents give up a couple of hours of their time to have their say on this important issue."
