At Transport Oral Parliamentary Questions, Gagan raised concerns on bus service reliability with the Secretary of State for Transport, Mark Harper, following recent emails he has received from constituents' on this issue.

In answer to Gagan's question, the Secretary of State confirmed that the Government is investing £1 billion to support local authorities in delivering their bus improvement plans, which includes £30 million of funding for Hertfordshire County Council.

Gagan has been a consistent champion of reliable and healthy transport since his election in 2019 and will continue to work with the relevant authorities to ensure that his constituents are able to access important sources of public transport in South West Hertfordshire.
